Fit and washability
I loved the dress. It’s lightweight and flattering to a figure with a tummy. However, after I hand washed the dress and hung it up to dry, the bodice stretched and it became a waisted dress instead of a high waisted dress. I am rewashing it to see if it will go back to high waisted – fingers crossed.

Love this dress!!!
I ordered 2 of these and they’re the most amazing summer dress. I wear a small and weigh 115lbs and im 5’6″ and they fit perfectly. The material is so soft and quality is great. I’m planning on ordering several more. I can wear them on Vaca or to a wedding or just a day out. I would say this is the best purchase I’ve made from Amazon in the clothing dept.

Slightly sheer
I am tall, 6’0” and this hits me perfect. Love the pockets. The fabric is soft and slightly sheer but not bad at all.

“Purple Grey” = blue grey; “Blue Grey” = purple grey
(I bought Large – but think Medium would fit better. I may buy one just to check.)Great casual dress. Wish it were an inch or two longer. A bit shorter than expected. I’m 5’3”, and it hits me mid-knee. Order it by your bust measurement. If you are between sizes, I suggest ordering the size closer to your bust measurement. The rest of the dress is comfortably sized. It skims my waist and tummy, because of the empire waist — but isn’t too loose. With all the colors and patterns, you can get several dresses, and you can’t even tell they are the same style. I got the navy and white polka dot, the purple grey, and the blue grey.NOTE: The purple grey and blue grey are misnamed: “Purple Grey” is actually blue grey, and “Blue Grey” is actually purple grey. *Going forward, I am using the actual color, not the “official color name” in this item description. The blue grey and purple grey colors are very close. I decided to keep one:— The color: My mind and eye prefer blue grey — It matches my eyes, and I wear the color a lot. I don’t typically wear purple; the last time was at age 13. I only bought purple grey because it looked like blue grey.— The dress: This blue grey looks surprisingly dull and drab on me. Purple grey looks better, but I’m not used to purple. I tried on the dresses back and forth, back and forth — but couldn’t decide! So I did the “Which would look best on a first date?” test. I decided that everyone — not just men — would like the purple grey better on me. While I like blue grey better as a color, I like the purple gray better on me as a dress. The purple grey dress looks more feminine, day or night. The blue gray dress looked dull and boring, especially at night. So I decided to keep the purple grey and return the blue grey. Ultimately, I decided the purple grey is a better blue grey than the blue grey.So due to the mislabeling see NOTE above), if you want the ACTUAL blue gray color that is surprisingly dull and drab, order “Purple Grey”.If you want the ACTUAL purple grey color [that I call “the better blue gray”], order “Blue Grey”.

It fits, but…
Well. It fits. I like the weight for a summer dress. But when I say it fits, I mean I’m gonna be sucking in my gut because it’s a tiny bit snugger than I’m comfortable with. Size up one size if you’d like a looser fit.Edit: I wore it for a day, and sent my fashion maven daughter a selfie and SHE said it looks fine…so here’s how it fits me. If you want a looser fit, size up. If you like things More body con then stay with your usual size.
